  • Washington is one of 17 states that permits bestiality. James Tate, 54, lived at a farm and was having relations with a horse, and allowing other people to do so. Tate was owner of the farm. He was videotaping a friend in an act with the horse, when the friend received injuries resulting in death.

    • Tait admitted to officers that he entered a neighbor's barn last July in Enumclaw with Kenneth Pinyan to have sex with a horse, charging papers said. Tait was videotaping the episode when Pinyan received internal injuries that led to his death.
