Vernon would show one of the recruits the xray screen as bags were being scanned, and see if Bobbie recognized anything bad. Bobbie was taught to cry out "Plane go boom!" if a gun or knife was found in the baggage. If Bobby got it right, he got cream cheese and a cracker; if he was wrong, he got an electric shock." The mother of an autistic child called in to blast Vernon for doing something so cruel...
