Dynamic Web Template: Frontpage not updating all pages

Question

I have created a site that uses DWT's. I need to update all the pages attached to the DWT, but the "Update all pages" menu option is always greyed out.

Microsoft has an article that references that command but makes no mention of why it might be greyed out.

Any ideas?

The FP2003 DWT "Update All Pages" function works against disk-based sites, and sites on servers running SharePoint?Create Team Services or Windows SharePoint?Create Services. It does not work on sites running the FP 2002 server extensions.

A way around this is to open the pages of your site that use the template, then change the template. Use File > Save to save the template, and then you will be asked if uou want to change a number of attached pages. (The number will be the number of pages you've opened.) Select yes, the pages will be updated, and then you can use Save All to save them with the update. Any attached pages you don't open will not be updated.

Any pages currently open in FrontPage will then be updated with the template changes.
