Everyone focused on what it did to San Francisco, 100 miles away... Must admit it was spectacular knocking down some raised freeways.

We were all disappointed that one of the nuns was there at the school and able to open the windows to equalize the pressure. We all wanted to see how cool the school would look with complete skylights in every room...

We all left the building, then I and a friend kept going back in to rescue stuff, till our boss told us to knock it off and stay out... Significant feelable aftershocks at least once an hour for the first 24 hours.
